This evening tour in Rome is the best way to eat out at sunset, and learn how the locals eat and drink! The establishment we will visit is family owned and they take great pride in serving up the finest cured meats, local cheeses, wines and delicious sweets imaginable! It's a real treat for connoisseurs of Italian food and wine.
Typical Roman wines from Civitavecchia, Frascati, Marino and Ariccia in the Castelli Romani , as well as many more from vineyards elsewhere in Italy, are served with a selection of locally produced cured meats and cheeses on this specially created evening tour for those of you who are truly passionate about Roman fare.
There are over 400 types of Italian cheese, and you will become familiar with those from Rome and the wider region of Lazio, including Pecorino Romano, Provola di bufala and Ricotta Romana.
Cheese, wine, salami , breads and sweets will be served throughout the evening.
The proprietor and your guide will advise you all along the way as regards to how the food and wine you'll taste is produced and prepared.
